About Dr. Saska Fiona Sookra Winslow
Dr. Saska Fiona Sookra Winslow is a board-certified family physician who has been in practice for 16+ years, since the completion of her family medicine residency at Florida Hospital, Orlando in 2007. She is a 2004 graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. During residency, Dr. Winslow was the recipient of the Resident Teacher of the Year in 2006, nominated by the University of South Florida medical students. She has also been awarded for Scholarly Achievement during her residency in 2007.
Since residency, Dr. Winslow has practiced in multiple clinical settings including urgent care, the hospital, the nursing home and rehabilitation center, and outpatient family practice. Having practiced in these various settings helped prepare and shape Dr. Winslow to become a well-rounded and experienced physician. Most recently, Dr. Winslow was one of the associate medical directors for Tidewell Hospice. She now also serves as an adjunct professor for Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), teaching 3rd and 4th year medical students. She cares deeply about her patients and is blessed to care for them in her own private practice.

Dr. Winslow is a firm believer in whole-person-based care looking at all aspects of health and healing – the physical, emotional and spiritual. She assesses all these components for her patients to ensure optimal health and wellness. She loves sitting down and getting to know her patients.
She is married to her husband, Aaron, and is a mom of two active kids, Madeleine and Seamus. In her free time, Dr. Winslow enjoys walking at sunset, biking, jogging, traveling, and Harley rides with her husband. three fur babies Tulip, Ruby and Honey – all rescues. In addition, she is actively involved in youth ministry at her church’s Pathfinder group.

All of the staff members were friendly, attentive, and efficient. The office and exam rooms were clean and well organized. I’m a new patient who recently moved here, and Dr. Winslow spent a good bit of time going over my medical history with me and giving me a physical exam. She was very thorough and competent. We have been looking for a family doctor for a long time. When we met Dr. Winslow she was very personable and good with all of my kids. She made us feel comfortable and was very thorough with their wellness checkups. The office was very clean and I love that she is open about her faith and even has scripture on her walls in the waiting room. Feeling very thankful to have her as our family doctor now. Dr. Winslow and her staff were wonderful. Dr. Winslow spent so much time with me, reviewed my old lab work, asked really thoughtful questions, and is working on a treatment plan for me that is holistic in nature, rather than focused on each individual issue. Highly recommend Dr. Winslow! I went to her with numbness on my arm and hand and pain in my lower back. Her diagnosis was spot on. She gave me great advise and suggested stretches I can do to help release a pinched nerve in my neck. Glad to say, I no longer have those pains. She also said a prayer over me, which I very much appreciated. She's full of knowledge, caring, kind and truly takes her time to listen to her patients. Thank you, Dr. Winslow 😊

I’m a patient of Dr. Winslow since 2020. She’s an excellent doctor, knowledgeable and kind, never rushes through an appointment. She takes time to listen to my health concerns, which is very important to me as a patient. The office is super clean and quiet, almost doesn’t feel like a medical clinic. The staff is very friendly. I never had problems with scheduling a short notice appointments. I would drive an extra mile to see Dr. Winslow, and definitely recommend her as a great family doctor!

Update: Dr. Winslow and her team at LifeStream Family Medicine have been fantastic for me. She truly cares for me as a patient and is attentive to me when I see her. I love Dr. Winslow she's not like other doctors, she is very concerning for your health, she actually listens to you and your concerns. After searching a year for a primary doctor that didn't have 3 month waits or not accepting new patients I found doctor Winslow and I'm glad I did.
